Lowhouses Ponies have had a good year in many ways.
At the Spring Breed Show in May, 6y.o Lowhouses Toya (Slateyford Diamond/Lowhouses Anna) was third in the geld mare class. She then went to the Great Yorkshire Show at Harrogate in July where she was placed 2nd in a strong class. At the Summer Breed Show in August she was second to the Reserve Champion. She was 2nd at Reeth show, 1st and Reserve Champion at both Weardale and Woslingham Shows, 3rd at Stanhope show and 2nd at Eggleston Show - not a bad show season. Then on October 3rd Toya went in harness to the Area 2 ride and drive in Hamsterley Forest on a very wet day, and covered 7 miles in just over an hour.
At the Spring Breed Show in May, 2 y.o. Lowhouses Gina (Slateyford Diamond/Lummas Ebony) on her first outing was 4th out of 19. Her next outing was at Reeth Show where she was placed 3rd. She then went to Weardale Show where she won her class and was overall Champion. She was 5th at Wolsingham Show (in with 3 y.o), 2nd at Stanhope and won her class at Eggleston Show.
13 y.o Lowhouses Rebecca (Ashwood Black Prince/Raygill Gemma) went to the Great Yorkshire Show in July with her colt foal, Jonjo, won her class and was overall champion - something we have always wanted to win! At the Summer Breed Show she was second and at Weardale Show she won her class.
